I thought it necessary to touch on this subject as later tutorials will assume you know something about computers. This is the page where I’ll try to touch on the basics of computer hardware.
… a website Ive been working on for a couple months. So this is my alternative to what would’ve been http://www.thatlinuxguy.com. It’s ok, my HTML skills aren’t that great anyhow. This is my first post of many in this blog, so let me introduce myself. My name is Andrew Hale. I’m a (soon to be) college student at a local community college, studying Computer Science. I’ve been into computers since I was 15, built my first when I was 18, and I haven’t looked back. These days I don’t really do much home PC repair. I’m more into the networking/server side of things. I hope to earn a position as a UNIX/Linux Network Administrator. I’m a full time Linux user for over 2 years, and still learning on all fronts. This blog is my effort to provide a one stop, easy to read, place for new Linux users, and those who’re starting to explore their inner-Network Administrator. If you have any questions, comments, or anything you’d like me to talk about, don’t hesitate to let me know. Thanks for your time, and I hope my blog will be of great help/entertainment to you. -That Linux guy
